The Bean Scoop's coffee reviews
Reviews are graded on taste, freshness and roasting process.
We review single origin, estate and organic coffees.

Rockets from Rosarita ~ Pistol & Burns

As reviewed by: D. and M. Burnett

Besides being very, very, brown, "Rockets from Rosarita" is very hot when prepared as recommended. It does, however, get cold if left for a long time (unless you have a Decent Coffee Cosy).

We found that this light, smooth coffee was a mellow way to ease into the morning, and we liked the pleasant, sweet taste it left in our mouths.

It had a round, smooth taste without heaviness or bitterness. The aftertaste was rich with a hint of sweetness making it a great choice for a breakfast coffee.

Rockets from Rosarita is to coffee what Burl Ives is to music; pleasant, inoffensive and brings a smile to your face, but doesn't exactly grab you and say "wassup".

Henry's Blend ~ Seattle's Best
Reviewed by: M. Schmidt

Henry's Blend has a rich, strong flavour. It doesn't introduce itself meekly but demands your attention. I prefer to have it with a little sweetener like honey or maple syrup (pure Canadian maple syrup that is).

When the kids wake you up at 7:00 a.m. on Christmas morning, this coffee has the goods to make your tastebuds follow suit.
