Here we are. It's December and I'm about a month late getting
our Christmas Edition up for y'all. I could tell you that it's
my way of making a stand against the over-zealous marketers
who flog the season beginning November 1st. Or, I could just
be honest and say that it's late – no excuses – just life getting
in the way…
But, we hope to make it all up to you by providing some fun
and provocative reading. This edition contains:
1. Three short pieces by DR.
DAVID RICHARDSON. David's stories have been published
in several medical journals and appear for the first time in
the Scoop;
2. LEONORA RECORD's
letter to Santa wherein she asks for rock in her stocking, peace
on earth, and a dollar in her shoe;
3. An interview with a barista
– word is I'm supposed to include some non-fiction in here so
I spoke with Cathy Coffee down at the local java bar;
4. A poem. By me.
I hope you enjoy reading our offerings this month. This last
in the whole of the 2001 year.
It's a bit strange, that 2002 is coming and there haven't been
any dire predictions about the world or our computers coming
to an end. The last two years have been so entertaining in that
regard. Not that I was scared or anything..
And don't forget to say a prayer (to whatever God you choose)
for PEACE. Stay cool.
